Who we are

Calvary Baptist Church at Peace Haven welcomes you to a church family that follows Jesus with clear focus and daily practice. You will find people who pray together, study Scripture, and serve neighbors across Winston-Salem. Leaders teach the Bible with care. Members support one another through groups, mentoring, and volunteer teams. The Peace Haven campus sits in a central location with clear signage, accessible entrances, and helpful greeters. If you have questions, someone will meet you at the door and point you to the right place. You can arrive a few minutes early, get your bearings, and settle in without pressure.

Calvary gathers as one church in several locations, and Peace Haven serves as a key campus for Sunday worship, groups, and weekday ministry. You will hear a blend of modern songs and classic hymns that focus your attention on Jesus. Teaching aims at real life. People speak plainly about hope, sin, forgiveness, and mission. Children and students have safe, age-appropriate spaces. Adults can connect through small groups, recovery support, and service teams. If you want to explore faith, you can do that at your pace. No one expects instant answers. The church invites honest questions and steady growth.

Calvary partners with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Southern Baptist Convention. That cooperation supports global missions, church planting, and disaster relief. Your giving and your time help real people. When a storm hits a nearby county, teams mobilize. When a neighbor needs food, volunteers respond. Calvary keeps the focus on the gospel and on people. You will see that focus in the way the campus organizes Sunday morning and weekday efforts. The goal stays simple. Help you know Jesus. Help you love people. Help you live sent.

What to expect on a Sunday
